IBEX is an SBA certified 8(a) company and can accept direct sole source awards for total contract values up to $4.5 million. The 8(a) contracting strategy provides a streamlined way for Contracting Officers to easily procure services while also contributing to the Federal Government’s goal of at least 12% supplier spend with small disadvantaged businesses each year. By working with a company carrying a small business 8(a) certification, you’re increasing the diversity of your own portfolio and tapping into the unrealized potential in the market.
Recently IBEX was awarded an addtional contract to continue providing services for the next five years. Additionally, IBEX provides Educational Support Services, including administrative, operational, technical, and project management of the ACCESS program by routinely interfacing with Army staff agencies, including HRC offices, Defense Finance & Accounting Service (DFAS), Service members Opportunity College (SOC), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and the Joint Services Transcript (JST).
IBEX supports the Army Personnel Training (APT) program to address strategic planning and communication needs and activities for efforts coordinated among government stakeholders and for functions specific to the mission of ACCESS. This support also includes biannual assessment and improvement recommendations to communication policies, procedures, and SOPs associated with the APT program. IBEX’s business management approach based upon proven Program Management Professional (PMP) processes supports the Budget Chief with operations and process improvement recommendations to process over 10,500 monthly recoupment/refund requests more efficiently. This $4M, 3-year contract includes 22 FTEs.
IBEX is providing a team of 10 instructors with curriculum design a, development, and facilitation skills to the United States Air Force (USAF) Force Support Professional Development School (FSPDS) to build, maintain, and deliver curriculum using leading-edge information and technologies. Our education team provides instruction to Air Force civilian employees and supervisors of civilian employees. IBEX’s education team aligns with the FSDS mission of ‘Student First’ and works closely with Course Directors (CD) to ensure that students are provided with the resources and support they require to succeed. IBEX education team provides remote instruction through live webinars, recorded webinars utilizing Microsoft Teams LMS and Adobe Connect.
The USAF initially funded IBEX’s contract for a Base Year and an Option Year to instruct up to 16,000 students per year to support the development of Air Force leaders. We are now going on our fourth year of supporting USAF FSPDS at the Maxwell Eaker Center. Our education team manages all aspects of course support, including review of existing curriculum and development of new curriculum, scheduling, and coordination of instructors to teach and develop courses following the Air Force curriculum requirements and procedures. Additionally, our team ensures the program is in alignment with the vision and strategic plan of Air University, Air Education and Training Command and Headquarters Air Force. Our organization collaborates with the FSPDS Course Directors to recommend methodologies, develop and manage instructional media and methods tailored to the subject to achieve desired learning objectives.
IBEX IT Business experts team was able to bring commercial expertise and best practices to the aid of a large Government Agency in creating a customized course. This “Engineering the Customer Experience” effort consisted of building the content, developing the trailer, and describing the attributes of outstanding customer experience. This effort enabled the Agency to explore critical communications practices and how to create an experience that encourages existing customers to return for repeat business.
