Job Summary:
IBEX IT Business Experts, LLC is looking for an Instructional System Designer (ISD), Distance Learning. The ISD will assist with the transformation of the United States Air Force, Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME) Distance Learning Programs into an on-demand continuous learning model. The ISD will lead the technical team of graphic artists/animators to ensure all contract deliverables are to 100% satisfaction. The ISD will assist with planning, managing and creating all distance learning products and client deliverables. IS Designer reports to ISD Project Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work in United States
- Military Veteran experienced with Department of Defense/Military distance learning education products
- Ability to manage work and staff to align with customer’s mission
- Proven experience in Instructional System Design distance learning projects at graduate level or military equivalent
- Experience managing graphic artist, animators and virtual reality creators
- Technical distance learning experience facilitating and creating products according to project plans, project schedules, technical requirements and customer criteria
- Must have completed training in ISD, Training, or Education
- Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Strong planning, task estimating, task tracking/completion, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) for curriculum creation, development and testing
- Experience with Adobe Captivate, Vyond, HTML5 Coding, audio recording software, creation of MPF/MP3 videos/audiobooks and SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) compliance
- Ability to integrating products into government LMS including appropriate formatting/resolution on multiple devices/platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops
- Extensive experience utilizing Canvas including the ability to develop and/or enhance graphic features in Canvas that interface with users
Responsibilities:

- Implement Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and best practices to design, develop, and implement a multitude of training products for enlisted military personnel
- Assist and participate in the end to end ISD distance learning products utilizing the ADDIE process for three US Air Force for enlisted military professional programs. Products include interactive video lectures including animation, student reading materials (HTML), student audio materials (MP3), education-based trivia games and multiple-choice questions, tests and assessments, and polling questions.
- Assist, direct and participate in the creation of course products, product testing, changes control, accurate task completion estimates, and QA/QC tests
- Provide input to client reports, progress reviews, and client validation/acceptance process, and client deliverables
- Manage and participate in the development of Level 1 & Level 2 interactivity products using the latest industry standards and best practices
- Manage and participate in the development and improvement of assessment items (test questions) that support the performance objectives and program outcomes
- Review, evaluate and recommend solutions to correct deficiencies and/or enhance existing learning content (electronic courses, videos, documents, websites, graphics and interactive games)
- Manage, task and track a team of graphic artists, designers, videographers, animators, VR creators to create distance learning products according to client specifications and requirements
- Self-starter with an ability to interact effectively with military, industry, and corporate partners
- Manage multiple tasks within deadlines to ensure a smooth transition between various projects

Other Duties Include
- Provide Project PM with progress reports, product reviews and other materials and documents related to project status and client deliverables
- Communicate risks and opportunities to Project PM to assess contingency plans and impact to deliverables
- Assist with all contract close out documentation and follow-on maintenance plans for continuous functionality of work products on identified platforms

This position is remote/telework position requiring the use of standard office equipment, computers and video/audio production equipment. Client meetings will include standard office environment/conference rooms. Must be able to operate in a professional office environment
