Position: Army Infantry Training Instructor
Location: U.S. Army Fort Benning and The Maneuver Center of Excellence
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Day/Night/Weekend hours may be required

IBEX is seeking Army Instructor to facilitate/conduct training and instruction for the Infantry One Station Unit Station Training (OSUT) Initial Entry Trainees in the 198th & 197th Infantry Brigades.
Instructor Minimum Requirements:
- Level 30/40 Military Skill set and 8 years of Military experience
- Instructors must have experience teaching the Program of Instruction (POI) for all of the following or demonstrated similar experience:
- Combat Life Saver (CLS)
- Defense against the threat of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) Weapons and Weapons of Mass Destruction
- Communication – Battlefield Signal Support Systems and Terminal Devices
- Be physically able to execute training in field environments (Ranges and Field Training Areas) walking moderate distances to train and evaluate STX lanes over uneven terrain, and Motor Pools, etc.
- Contracted Instructors must be able mount and dismount vehicles for training (Bradley, Stryker and HMMWV) at motor pools and training areas, etc.
- Experience in the delivery of military instruction (Common Faculty Development Program- Instructor Course [CFDP-IC] certified or equivalent certification [e.g., other branch of service, civilian education]) within the last five years.
- Be able to be provide performance-oriented instruction, coaching, and mentoring in Infantry skill level ten tasks to Initial Entry Soldiers.
- Attend and pass the 80 hr Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFD-IC) and the 198th Infantry Brigade Cadre Training Course (CTC) and pass 198th IN BDE certification.
- Experienced in the delivery of military instruction (Common Faculty Development Program- Instructor Course [CFDP-IC] certified or equivalent certification [e.g., other branch of service, civilian education]) within the last five years.
- Be able to articulate complex subjects to students.
- Have knowledge of current TRADOC Pamphlets 350-70-1 thru 350-70-12, Training and Education, and a working knowledge of DOD, Joint, and Army Training, Training Management, and Training Support practices, policies, procedures, concepts, and methodology involved in Army training.
- Have one year of experience with the systems approach to training/curriculum development (ADDIE model) and management. (e.g. experience in developing, revising and preparing course of instruction based on subject-matter knowledge and research to include lesson plans, course manuals, background materials, workbooks, handouts, course assessment forms, study guides, and training aids).
- Demonstrable comprehension of characteristics and limitations of war gaming matrices, synchronization matrices, decision matrices, and contingency matrices.
- Ability to utilize analytical tools and techniques, such as war games and simulations.
- Successfully pass the course certification program for the course assigned.
- Able to successfully attend the Range Safety Officer Training on Fort Benning with Range Control.
In addition to the above all instructors MUST have demonstrated/ documented background experience in the application, learning product development, and delivery of instruction using Adult learning techniques for the ALL of the following:

Physical Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition, able to work outdoors in all types of weather (e.g., heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.) during day and night operations.
- Ability to walk long distances up to 12 KM daily for up to 6 days a week over broken ground and may have to remain standing for extended periods of time in order to instruct training.
- Able to climb up and down on a variety of military and armored vehicle platforms.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Overtime is prohibited. Days and hours of work can vary between night/day and Monday through Sunday.
