Position: Proposal and Pricing Intern

Are you a student interested in building real-world experience with an award-winning team? We’re a forward-thinking, award-winning Information Technology (IT) Consulting and Training firm specializing in Best Practice Frameworks, Process Improvement and IT Service Management Solutions.
We are seeking a Proposal and Pricing intern to support the development of federal government and commercial proposal pricing and accompanying documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and validating the accuracy of pricing and then developing, writing and editing the supporting proposal text to ensure there is a well-documented approach to the proposal. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer focused mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expert-level understanding of MS-Excel and MS-Word including advanced formatting and formulas
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with ability to prepare a variety of business development and proposal documents
- Ability to produce high quality deliverables in a fast paced environment, with 100% correctness
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- This position is based in Norcross, GA – no remote opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with contact management systems
- Experience with Federal Request for Information/Proposal/Quote processes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs)
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of CSS
Responsibilities:
- Work with proposal manager and federal sales director to ensure there’s an understanding of bid requirements and pricing format and approach.
- Assist with developing a competitive bid and proposal strategy.
- Support the standardization of our Contract Management System (e.g. visual formatting, naming conventions, etc.)
- Enhance proposal quality with stylist and substantive editing and formatting of text.
- Use MS-Excel to perform pricing calculations and assist bid lead with budgets and financial planning.
- Use MS-Word to write non-technical sections of proposals (from supplied templates) and insert pricing from Excel.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
