Navigating the new Business Climate

The National 8(a) conference was a hot ticket last week. I know that many are uncertain because of the new administration and all that presidential transitions always bring. Overall, there was a lot of optimism in the sessions I attended and the theme was “Stay the Course.” If you are successful at what you are doing, keep doing it. Pending contracts aren’t going to go away over night. Any long lasting change in the Small Business Sector will take around 2 years to funnel down from the Fed, good or bad. My strategy of partnerships won’t change, however, as we continue to grow, I will look for additional Mentor Protege opportunities and to partner with larger firms to gain experience and capacity.
