IBEX IT Business Experts GDPR Policy

This GDPR Policy is to inform you of our online information practices and your choices regarding the collection and use of your information. This GDPR Policy applies to all information collected from the IBEXExperts.com website and also applies to certain other electronic information as outlined below.

What is the GDPR?

Effective Date: May 25, 2018

On May 25, 2018, the European Union (EU) privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into effect. The GDPR imposes new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations that process, collect, or store personal data of EU citizens or operate within the EU. This means that GDPR applies no matter where you are located. We at IBEX IT Business Experts comply with, and strongly believe that the GDPR is an important step forward for clarifying and enabling individual privacy rights and a great opportunity to enhance and make our business more efficient, by making the information we hold more accurate and reliable.

What is personal data?

The GDPR applies to ‘personal data’, meaning any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier. This definition provides for a wide range of personal identifiers to constitute personal data, including name, identification number, location data or online identifier, reflecting changes in technology and the way organizations collect information about people.
