What do Amazon, NASA, the National Guard, and General Motors have in common?

Validating a Business Model in a Difficult Year
For Tracey Grace, chief executive officer of IBEX, that blessing validates her team’s hard work in a very difficult year — and many years prior too.
“COVID was a tough year, not just because of business disruption but because our team was impacted. Some of our team lost family members and experienced hardships from being isolated,” says Grace. “We had to band together and take care of one another.”
Her team’s fortitude paid off — and they’re stronger for it.
“Not only did we survive, but we thrived,” adds Grace.
This isn’t the first recognition IBEX has earned for its work in the digital IT training and certification space. The company earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies (over $2 million in revenue) in 2018, 2019, and 2020. And it nabbed the prestigious American Express “On The Rise” Contractor of the Year award in 2015.
Changing the IT Training and Certification Game
Proud as Grace and her team are to land on the 2021 Georgia Fast 40 list, they know awards aren’t the most important barometer of success in a competitive industry. They come to work every day with one mission: to change the IT training and certification game for the better.

According to Michelle Galvani, chairperson of the Georgia Fast 40 awards, the 2021 honorees collectively account for “6,600 new jobs and nearly $2.4 billion dollars in revenue growth over the last three years.” They constitute a representative slice of Georgia’s dynamic economy, from disruptive healthcare and logistics firms to high-tech manufacturers and financial services companies.
There’s Atlanta-based Bitcoin Depot, which manages a rapidly growing network of cryptocurrency ATMs. Catalyst Nutraceuticals, a custom dietary supplements manufacturer in Alpharetta. Flip Electronics, a Roswell company that’s working to eliminate the costly problem of component obsolescence in enterprise electronics. And LeaseQuery, an Atlanta-based company devoted to simplifying lease management and accounting — saving small businesses serious money and time.
And that’s just a taste. Talk about being in good company.
Indeed, for these Georgia Fast 40 honorees, this recognition — sweet as it is after a very difficult year — is only a sign of things to come. Don’t bet against IBEX finding new ways to stand out from the crowd in the months and years ahead.
